La fiesta

At the restaurant where we finally ate, there was an ash tray
that said, smoking is bad for your health.  I thought it was
ironic as all such things are.

So, I was going to write a lot earlier, but I got distracted by my homework.  I don't have too much to tell.  We just went out to eat for one of my colleague's birthday.  She is vegetarian, so we had a heck of a time finding a place where she would eat.  We went into one, but just looked at the menu.  We should have done the same at the next place, because after ordering drinks and looking at the menu, she realized they didn't have anything she was willing to eat.  So instead we went to another restaurant, looked at the menu, and it didn't look promising.
We had seen a sign for a vegetarian restaurant earlier, so we decided to check it out.  They only had one dish, so we went to a Cuban restaurant instead.  There were a lot of people there, so it must have been the right choice.  Finally, there we ate.  They had a nice balcony, too.
We didn't stay out too late, but since it gets dark so early here, it felt much later than it was.  Of course, it's late now, and I'm sure I will wake up early tomorrow, so I should probably get to bed.
