"Now all that's left, pictures on the wall, memories and stories that are told. The more often told, the bigger they get, create a legacy, lest we forget. . ." - Goodbye by Plankeye
Memory game
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It can also be a family memory - whatever comes to you. Anything goes! (Well, within reason...)
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, no worries. It is, after all, just for fun!

All I remember about that late night camping conversation was that you said "Bad Candy!" It was hilarious at the time, but I can't remember the details! Do you remember? We were camping with the young adults I believe and we were up talking in our tent!

" no officer, we were just singing! we just got out of church... " it's ok officer, i have cheese in my pants!" oh man... the memories! true story! I don't have a blog yet, but I do have memories of you, Rachel... I was your "old" roommate in Provo, and you came to visit me in Burns, Oregon. I got bucked off a horse when we were riding at my brother's ranch. And didn't we make homemade chicken noodle soup? I need to look around your site for your email, so we can catch up!

Hey, Rachel! I'm not much for keeping up with blogs, but I have plenty of memories of you. I'll just share one that comes to mind that felt like "bonding time" for you and me: on an early morning trip to Williston (probably a Seminary Super Saturday), all the other kids had fallen asleep, and I was feeling sleepy, but you talked to me for over an hour and kept me awake to drive! I learned all kinds of fascinating things about you, e.g., that you learned to read from Clarence when you were only four. Possibly on a different trip, but also a Williston drive, you and I talked about Liz. Now I know she likes to be called Elizabeth (at least outside of your family), but you were helping me understand her. That has been helpful ever since.
Okay, one more: writing your letter of recommendation for a coca-cola scholarship (I don't think you got it - hope that wasn't my fault). Boy, did I brag about you in that letter!
It was fun to see your blog finally. Feel free to leave a memory on mine if you want to, but I'm much late on this entry, and I did it on mine a while back, so don't worry about it.
Hope you're happy and doing well! You've had some great adventures!
Much love,
Karla
