Happy Fourth of July!

The giant pistachio

We left Ruidoso around noon this morning to head back to El Paso/Ciudad Juarez.  Before we left town, I bought a wooden bear.  It seems to be THE thing to get in Ruidoso, probably because Smokey the Bear was found near there. 
On the way back to Mexico, we stopped at the World's Largest Pistachio.  They have pistachio and wine tasting there.  I tried several of the pistachios and they were delicious.  We also stopped at some outlet malls for shopping.  I really do like buying new clothes :)
Finally, when we got back, I got dropped off at my house.  I took some of the leftover food, and while I was doing that, I was not in my house, obviously.  Gizmo was very loud.  I could hear him crying all the way outside.  The funny thing is that he wouldn't even come downstairs to see me.  he wanted me to go all the way upstairs to see him.  I had to laugh.
I finished unpacking today, and also set up my Wii Fit for the first time.  I really need to get a treadmill because I want to be better about getting exercise.  It's practically impossible to run outside here because it is so hot, not that I would run outside if it wasn't.  But with a treadmill I could at least walk.
