Two Month Anniversary

Today is Ulises's and my two-month anniversary.  Work wasn't too bad, but I was still feeling worn out.  Afterwards, I fell asleep and Ulises came over.  He had the day off so he could go get the meat we're having for a New Years Eve dinner tomorrow.
Meeting with the missionaries
Anyway, he brought a couple of gifts for me for our anniversary.  He got me a painting and a statue.  They are both of Aztec figures.  It was really nice.  We were going to go out and do something, but a lot of things factored into that not happening.  First of all, the missionaries came over, so that cut out some of the time we otherwise would have had.  Second, Ulises still had his dad's truck, so we needed to take that back to him.  Then he was kind of worried about his brother-in-law, so he wanted to talk to him.  But while we were waiting for the bro-in-law to be available, we were driving along.  There was a park (DIF) that Ulises had wanted to take me to, but when we arrived, they had already closed.  We learned that they would be open again on Monday, so we decided to go back this coming Monday.  After that, we went to see his bro-in-law.  Despite not really doing much, it was a good anniversary.  Tomorrow we're having Ulises's family over to my house for dinner.  Although I don't like cooking a lot, I do like having large dinners.  I'm not really sure what that is about.  But I am looking forward to tomorrow.
