Beginning of the concert |
Tonight, as part of Juarez Competitiva, I went to see Maná play tonight. They are a pretty big group in Latin America, and I've heard a lot of their music, which I enjoy. We didn't have very close seats, but we could still hear and enjoy the music, so that is all that matters.
I was really impressed, though. A lot of times I don't like going to concerts because the groups sound horrible in real life. Its like they need some kind of editing to sound good. But Maná sounded as good in person as they do on the radio. It was interesting to be surrounded by people all singing along to the songs. I swear everyone knew every word.
There was also this interesting guy with cotton candy. He would basically pole dance for the spectators. It was quite funny.

Me at the concert |
Song about there being only one America, but I think they meant only Latinamerica because they never showed the US flag, though they showed flags for every other country in the Americas, basically. |
