Barrigas

My finished puzzle.  I must say, I rock at puzzles
Another late night for me.  But I have to admit, I feel like I am finally starting to get out into the city more.  I like not having to go to El Paso for fun.  But I'm getting ahead of myself.
This morning I had my guitar class.  I was actually on time, and very annoyed to see that the teacher was later than he has ever been before.  In fact, he was 45 min late.  But the nice thing was that we finally started learning some chords.  Before you know it, I'll be able to play a song and sing along!  Maybe that's a little too much to expect, but a girl's gotta hope, right?
Xochitl Soup

Anyway, after my class, I went back home, cleaned a little, and then finally finished this puzzle that I started 2 years ago when I was in North Dakota.  I never got very far in ND because I didn't have time, and only got it out a couple days ago.  I really enjoy puzzles, though at the end, there is always this anti-climactic feeling when I wonder, now what do I do with it?  I don't want to just take it apart because I spent so much time putting it together, but I also don't want to just take it apart as if I had never even done it.  So here is happy medium: take a picture, then tear it apart.
That evening, I went to dinner with a friend of mine from work.  We were supposed to go to dinner with a couple of Mexican women from my friend's basketball team, but that didn't happen.  I really don't like it when I can't rely on people.  But my friend and I had fun.
We went to Barrigas.  There, they automatically gave us English menus and our waiter talked to us in English, too.  I have to say that I was a little offended that they assumed we didn't speak Spanish.  I ordered the Xochitl (pronounced Soshil) Soup, which was really good.
Afterwards, we went back to my friend's house where we watched a movie.  That is why I am getting home so late.  It sure beats being stuck at home! :)

Yeah, that's one thing to do with them, but since I move so often, it doesn't make sense to have a lot of extra wall hangings. As it is, I have more than I can handle. But thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for reading my blog!
