Surprise, surprise

One Shabbat down, one to go. That's right, I have one more Sabbath Day before I will be back in the States. I don't even know how I feel about it. In some ways I am glad to be almost done, but in so many others, I don't want to leave.
But, lets forget about such depressing matters. Today was an interesting day. After church, I went downstairs to my room, surprised to discover that our door was locked. Then I heard a loud noise coming from inside . . . someone was there! I tried knocking, but there was nothing. I went to find my roommates to see if they had keys. No one did, so we had to go through our next door neighbor's to the patio and then in. Our patio door was wide open. We walked in, shocked to see toilet paper strewn all over! (see above) It wasn't a well done job, but what can you expect when they are interrupted. The door had been locked from the inside, the culprits sneaking out through the back, but we knew exactly who it was. I wasn't worried because they didn't even do much and it wasn't something worthy of a response, but my roommates retaliated by stealing one of the culprits' pillows and stuffing the case with toilet paper.
I just left. I went out with Megan and Shea. We were going to visit some friends, but we couldn't get a hold of them, so we went to the Garden Tomb and then joined a group and walked the Via Dolorosa. (See left - Aimee, Yulia and Shea, Rachel, Megan, and Jade and David in the very back). That was interesting. We hurried so we could make it back for dinner. After dinner, we went out to the neighborhood down the hill (this time with Aimee and Kyle). There, a little girl called out, I love you! When we crossed the street, she came up to us. She first kissed Aimee, then came up to me, kissed me, and held my hand. She was really cute. We then continued on. The family we were going to visit wasn't home, so we left a note. That was vaguely deja vu-ish. Then we ended up going up to a different family's house. They were really nice. I enjoyed the short time that we had with them. We had to hurry back for choir. We had dress rehearsal for our choir concert tomorrow night. It was fun, but rather tiring. I hope we sing well tomorrow.
