Baking the cookies!

I had my first Spanish evaluation yesterday.  It went well.  My evaluator said that I'm right on track.  That made me feel good, even though I still feel like I'm not learning as fast as I should be.  But I understand a lot more than I used to!
Then last night I went Bollywood dancing with a friend of mine.  It was so much fun!  My hips have been sore all day as a result.  Maybe I'll take some classes or something soon.  It's great exercise, but FUN exercise, too!

Decorating the cookies

Tonight I went to see a friend that I haven't seen since before Christmas.  Her roommate, and some other friends were there as well.  We made sugar cookies and decorated them for Valentine's Day.  It was a lot of fun.  We added cinnamon and nutmeg to some of the cookies and it was delicious!  I never would have thought to do that!
So far my weekend has started great.  I'm still waiting for my license plates, though.  I'm really annoyed by that.  Oh well, there isn't anything I can do about it.  And there's no point in stressing about things I can't change.
By the way, did I mention that I've been exercising lately?  It's a great feeling to be doing something I've felt like I should be doing for a while now.  It makes me feel healthier, though I'm not sure if it has actually made me healthier or not.
