Festival of Colors

Today has been quite an eventful day. I went to a stake enrichment meeting this morning, which was a lot of fun. We had free food, and then break-out sessions where we could learn a lot of different things. It was fun.
Then I went to Daniel's birthday party. He turns 1 tomorrow. Daniel is my cousin's kid, in case you didn't already know. I wasn't able to stay very long because my ward went down to the festival of colors at the Hare Krishna temple in Spanish Fork. It was a lot of fun. Everyone throws colored chalk at each other (see picture - Rachel and I at the Festival, this was quite early on, before I got a lot of color in my hair). There was music, we walked around the temple, looked at the llamas, peacocks, and zebu which live there on the grounds, and then headed back to Provo. We went out to eat at Chili's when we got back, though we were all still covered in chalk. It was a lot of fun.
There is one thing that kind of put a damper on my day. When I got back to my apartment, I discovered that my sister Sara had been locked out for the past 4 1/2 hrs. There is one consolation, though. I think she has learned her lesson about leaving her key and phone at home.
